Welcome and thank you for visiting the online home of the Mosman Swans Junior Australian Football Club, voted the Champion Club for the Sydney Harbour region in 2009, 2007 and 2006.
The Mosman Swans provide AFL programs for all ages from four through to sixteen, with a strong emphasis on fun, fostering team values, sportsmanship and providing special experiences for children and their parents.
Mosman Swans 2010 registrations are still open, information about how to register can be found in the registrations area. All kids welcome to join, whether experienced or new to the fun and excitement of AFL.
Major Achievements of Mosman Swans in 2009
• Champion Club, Sydney Harbour Region
Sydney Harbour Region boasts the largest junior AFL competition in NSW. This is the third time in four years Mosman Swans have received the Champion Club award, in recognition of excellence in playing performance, promotion of the game and sportsmanship across all age groups.
• Best Auskick Program, North Shore
Awarded to Auskick President, Phil Lemieux, for exceptional development of younger players aged 4 through to 7.
• Volunteer of the Year, Sydney Harbour Region
Awarded to Club Secretary Yvonne Wallbank for services to the sport and raising awareness of indigenous health issues through the development of sporting links with players from Far West NSW.
• Silver Whistle Award, North Shore
Awarded to Mosman Swan’s umpire, Andy Burgess, voted best umpire in the North Shore region.
• Under 12 Division 1 Premiers
Won by Coach Craig Langham’s team, their fourth consecutive premiership.
